UltraViolet works on a range of issues including health care, economic security, violence, reproductive rights, racial justice, and immigration by putting the voices of all women, especially women of color and LGBTQ women, front and center.

FLYE - Future Leaders Young Entrepreneurs

Future Leaders & Young Entrepreneurs was Founded in 2013 by Cortni Grange and Sam Sesay (emeritus), two former student athletes. Sam and Cortni ran into each other at a gym more than a decade after the two graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD. One conversation during that workout led them to form an organization that actively creates new realities for minority male student athletes. FLYE’s first 3 years of programming was conducted at Sam and Cortni’s alma mater, Eleanor Roosevelt High School (ERHS). In that time, FLYE worked directly with over 90 student athletes educating and empowering around such topics as: entrepreneurship, leadership, gentlemanly behavior/etiquette, financial literacy, college preparation and health and wellness.

In addition to its versatile food menu, Agora offers an extensive selection of international wine, locally crafted & Mediterranean beers, unique cocktails and the lion’s milk of the Mediterranean, Raki. Agora’s wine menu has been a winner of the Wine Spectators “Award of Excellence” every year, since 2010.
